Asexuality
To be asexual is to not have or feel the sexual attraction towards others, or can also be understood as low interest towards engagement in sexual activity. There exist a small section of humans, who perceives themselves to be asexual in their sexual orientation. However, others i.e people with limited access towards knowledge resources describes asexuality as an absence of sexual orientation. The term Asexual can be understood as an umbrella term that brings together a wide spectrum of asexual sub-identities, which includes grey-A, demisexual, queerplatonic, and many others. Asexual people might come up with any gender identity, for instance cisgender, transgender, non-binary, or any other gender. It is common and very likely for asexual people to have romantic (and not sexual) attractions towards others. They may identify themselves as homo-, hetero-, bi-, or pan-romantic. Others might be aromantic, indicating that they feel no romantic attraction towards other people.
