Auxiliary egos
The term auxiliary ego,which is also known as simply an auxiliary, is referred to as the position that is assumed by other participants in a psychodrama ,or role-playing exercise, in order to create a particular situations for the protagonists in that particular state. Another conceptualization is used to describes it in psychodrama as the representation which will involve the protagonist's world real and tangible that is relevant to them. The therapist, in the role as “director,” may remain silent or inject questions and suggestions. This technique usually has an emotionally cathartic value, and it may also help the patient understand problems revealed by one’s personal actions and thoughts as well as those reflected by other members of the group.
