Bodily fluids
Bodily fluids can be defined as liquids that are produced by human bodies and plays role in transportation of nutrients and expulsion of waste from human body. These includes:
1. Blood. It is the major transport system of a human body, it transport most of the things, ranging from glucose oxygen to hormones.
Saliva. The fluid that is present only in the digestive system and play important role in digestion of food in the mouth.
Semen. Male reproductive system produce semen, its major role is to transport sperm besides providing the spermatozoa with nourishment.
Vaginal fluids. Female vagina produce this in order to provide assistance in the process of sperm transportation to uterus.
Mucus. It is rich in antibodies, enzymes, and proteins and acts as the first line defense system against all pathogens besides preventing the mouth, nose, throat, sinuses, and lungs from drying out.
Urine. Produced by kidneys in order to maintain homeostasis and keep the body clean.
