Cajoled
The word cajoled is the past tense of the word Cajole which mean to persuade someone in a way so that they agree to do something, predominantly by sustained coaxing or flattery. In a social situation, human beings are influenced by a number of ways. The act of actively influencing an individual by changing one’s attitude is termed as persuasion. A person can also be influenced by using various compliance technique, individuals also conform to certain situation for their need of knowledge or survival. An influence is said to be overriding when a person inspite of having plenty of other areas to option to chose from, get influenced from a source, which is ensures being influenced towards itself despite other options. While cajoling a person, several persuasion techniques are used. Cajoling someone is usually used as a technique by sales person, parents of infants and others who wants to they try to make a person comply.
