Commercial lubricant
Any substance that reduces friction between two or more colliding object in motion is termed as lubricant, the action of reducing friction is termed as lubrication. In human body, when two person engage in sexual intercourse, lubrication is required to facilitate the intercourse and reduce the painful friction between the vaginal walls and the penis. Fluid secreted from the cervix and also the secretions from the Bartholin glands, which are two pea sized glands at the base of the vagina are responsible for keeping the vagina lubricated, besides the hormonal influences. When lubrication is not produced naturally, artificial or commercial lubricant might be used to ease and facilitate the process. Generally, there the requirement of artificial lubricant arise when the vagina fails to produce natural lubricate due to some underlying gynecological problem or other related causes. Only medically tested and certified commercial lubricants should be used, as per requirement.
