Consequences
Everyday we are bombarded with a number of phenomena that are occurring around us. Humans therefore try to predict what might occur because of an incident which might follow. The consequences of an incident is the possibility of presupposing what might be the result of an act. To put it in other way, consequences are reflection of what have been done earlier. The entire domain of research and academics is based on the need and wish of humankind to predict the consequences in different areas. Thinking about the consequences of any action, prior to the action, is a good practice.
A person should employ both divergent and convergent thinking, reasoning, heuristics, logic gates, algorithms to predict future consequences of present phenomena. The predictability of incidence also ensures that people can prepare for natural or artificial calamities with resources that is available. Also, over thinking about the consequences that cannot be controlled might result in unrest and distress.
