Delayed ejaculation
Delayed ejaculation describes the difficulty or inability of a man to reach a climax and to ejaculate semen. The causes can be both physiological or psychological. When a man takes up longer than 30 minutes of penetrative sex to ejaculate, inspite of having normal erection, it is considered delayed ejaculation. Ejaculation can be defined as the expulsion of semen from the body of an organism. The Central Nervous System controls the physiological process of ejaculation. Upon being sexually stimulated, signals are sent to the spinal cord and brain of men. As soon as men reach a certain level of excitement, these signals are then sent from the brain to the reproductive organs, leading to be semen ejaculation through the penis. There are two phases of Ejaculation, Emission and Expulsion. Any one or both the phases of ejaculation might get elongated, resulting in a delay in the process of ejaculation.
