Demeaned
To demean some one is to attack someone weak corners or the areas where one is not confident in a way that is difficult for someone to accept, leading to feeling of unhappiness and feeling of inadequacy. The point of demeaning someone is to dehumanize them, to redefine them in terms that is socially negative or to rob them of their self- perceived identity and thus, attack their power. These exchanges are common sites in the parliament, in the news, on television, in sports. The feelings of humiliation, that is faced by a person when he or she is demeaned leads one to serious mental issues. Humiliation can be the precipitatory reason of depression, low self esteem, and even trauma depending upon the situational setting. When kids are demeaned by the parents the consequences can be far reaching and damaging. Some kids might suffer from different mental health problems which can range from low self-esteem to many other.
