Disorganized speech
People with disorganized speech usually are the one who speaks incoherently, the person speaks or expresses in a way that is either incomprehensible or confusing; to pit it in simple words, it appears unclear to the listener. This can be because of variety of reasons. People are often found to respond to questions with unrelated answers, they come up with illogical things,they might present word salad, pressure of speech or shift topics frequently. Important symptoms of disorganized speech usually involve loosing of associations, That is rapidly shifting between topics with no connections between topic, talking excessively and mostly out of context, presenting echolalia that is repeating the speech of a person to whom he or she is talking to without any further regard, presenting word salad or placing number of words one after the other in a way that it reflects no meaning. These is very common symptom that is seen in patient suffering from schizophrenia, or any other psychotic disorder.
