Dissociative fugue
The term Dissociative fugue was formerly called psychogenic fugue. It indicates to one of a group of conditions that are listed under the dissociative disorders. The word fugue has been derived from the Latin word for "flight." it has been observed that people suffering from dissociative fugue temporarily lose the sense of their personal identity. Thereby these people are found to impulsively wander or travel away from their homes or the places of their work. They are generally confused about their identity and sometimes found to create new identities. When overt behaviour of these people are taken into consideration, people with this disorder show no signs of illness like a strange appearance or a behaviour that is odd.
