Ejaculation
Ejaculation can be defined as the expulsion of semen from the body of an organism. The Central Nervous System controls the physiological process of ejaculation. Upon being sexually stimulated, signals are sent to the spinal cord and brain of men. As soon as men reach a certain level of excitement, these signals are then sent from the brain to the reproductive organs, leading to be semen ejaculation through the penis.
There are two phases of Ejaculation:
Emission: When the sperm moves from the testicles to the prostate and combine with seminal fluid to make semen, the process is called emission. The sperm moves through vasa deferentia from the testicles through the prostate to reach the base of the penis.
Expulsion: When the muscles at the base of the penis contract, expulsion occurs. This result in forcing semen out of the penis. Generally, ejaculation and orgasm happen at the same time, however, some men might climax without ejaculating.
