Eluding
To elude means to escape. To escape vigilance so that a person can do something that is otherwise prohibited is called eluding. The term eluding however have different meaning in psychoanalytic theory. As per psychoanalytic theory, certain unconscious thoughts and desires often are censored by the vigilant ego of an individual and is kept away from coming into the eye of consciousness of an individual, since such desires can create a state of uneasiness and discomfort in the person. However, such thoughts often elude the censorship and appears in the conscious thoughts in disguised form, sometimes through dream, slip of tongue, etc. Therefore, dreams are product of unconscious material that have reached the consciousness eluding the censorship of ego.
