Emotional conflicts
Emotional conflict in stressful situation has been an area where scientist have found great interest. Emotional conflict is a common source of stress. The word emotional conflict can be defined as an state of emotion where one has the feeling of being pulled between opposing desires, motives and goals. There are three different types of conflicts which results in stress.
Approach approach conflict: When individuals have two equally attractive goals to achieve, it results in a conflicting situation. For example, a boy offered two lucrative jobs at the same time.

Approach avoidance conflict: Sometimes, negative and positive motives might be involved. For example: a deadline and/or a party of weekend.

Avoidance avoidance conflict: When two unattractive alternatives operate simultaneously, individual attempts to avoid both.

Researchers have stated that human experiences emotions as a dynamic process. Biological and physiological factors are involved in experience of a specific emotion and the effects it procedures.
