Exposed
To be exposed to something means to face a situation in a way, unprotected or uncovered. Or might also indicate to the idea of revealing a hidden truth. This might involve putting someone in a vulnerable position. We call a person vulnerable when he or she is exposed to the possibilities of manipulation. This manipulation can be of different form. Usually, when an vulnerable individual is exposed to the condition which can bring about changes in their psychological state, he or she is more likely to experience the change than those who do not have the vulnerabilities. However, if one is merely exposed to certain vulnerabilities of a disorder, it does not necessarily mean that he or she will develop the disorder.
