Genitals
The word genitals in general means the male or female reproductive organs or the sexual organs possessed by the individual of different biological sex. The word genitalia is understood to include both the internal and external structures involved in the process of reproduction. The female reproductive organs include the internal genitalia, which includes the ovaries, Fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and vagina. The external genitalia of the females include the labia minora and majora (also referred to as the vulva) and the clitoris (the female counter part of penis). Coming to the males, The male internal genitalia are inclusive of the testis, the epididymis, and vas deferens. And the male external genitalia are the scrotum and the penis. The entire reproductive system of a man lies outside his body in the scrotum sac. Apart from this, as per the psychosexual developmental stages, defined by Freud, Genitals forms the fifth stage.
