Giftedness
Intelligence Quotient (known commonly by its abbreviation IQ ), is a number that is used to express the relative intelligence of an individual. Intelligence is often measured in terms of IQ. IQ is mathematically computed by considering the ratio of mental age to chronological age of a person and then multiplying it by 100. Giftedness is the act of possessing high intelligence quotient. A person who posses an IQ which is much higher as compared to that of the general population are termed as the gifted individual. A gifted individual is an asset to the society. This is largely because he or she possess the capability of thought and action which most people belonging to the general population lack.
