Hallucinations
Hallucination is perception of having seen, heard, touched, taste and smell something that wasn’t actually there.
Hallucination is also known as illusion which is not a real thing and it seems to be real. And even your sense of balance can be deceived. Hallucinations often occur because things do not happen in the way we expected them to, and the brain gets confuse. This is called as hallucination.
The symptoms of hallucination include:
- Bodily sensations for example crawling on the skin and motion of internal organs.
- Apprehension of sounds for example footsteps, door or window banging or music.
- Perception of voices. The voices are complimentary, neutral, critical, or self-destructive messages
- Visual perception of nonexistent light, patterns or objects
- Detection of unpleasant or likeable scents
- Seeing or hearing a departed loved one (normal hallucination, a part of grieving period)
