Invalidating environment
We as human beings are product of both the nature that is the genetic contribution with which we are born and the nurturance that we have received from our immediate environment. When the environment where we live is not supportive and do not validate our achievement or what we do we receive a feedback from the environment that is negative. An environment which deprives an individual of validation and which in turn creates negative impact on the person is an invalidating environment.
The way we in which human beings react to an environmental condition or the way in which they use their agency to act on certain things are often determined by various influencing factors. The environmental factors can be physical, economical, sociological and psychological. None of these factors are independent and function separately, but they act together to influence human behaviour. Yet, when we try to segregate, we find that overall supportive environment results in enhanced health condition.
