Meditation
Meditation is necessarily one such tool for the inward voyage of the self to “look within”, to embrace life as it is and to cleanse itself of its impurities in the form of negative elements of cognition, affection and conation.
Meditative journey helps one to move from lowest to highest level of thoughts in self-actualizing process. The clarity and enhanced concentration produced by meditation helps the mind to work effectively at all levels. The net gain is a new perspective, a new dimension of awareness to see oneself and the world around. Each meditation session has “three stages” as follows:
Preparation – gathering one’s concentration sitting comfortably on a cushion
Practice – deepening of concentration as the mind turns inward;
Conclusion – a moment of thanks to one’s mind and body, to our breath and to life itself.
