Midlife crisis
When people reach the midpoint of their lives, they may start questioning themselves about the things they have chosen to dedicate their life to. People often start reevaluating their priorities and goals. These kinds of thinking are commonly known as midlife crisis.
Midlife crisis is a normal transition that occurs to both men and women between the ages of 40 to 50. According to study, major life changing events like divorce, job loss, loss of loved one or relocation can be main factors that trigger the crisis. It can uplift an individual to do something better than ongoing life but in most cases negative effects have been observed.
Not everyone has a smooth transition during their midlife. Midlife crises may lead to negative impacts on our emotional, physical and financial well-being. In midlife people need to be aware of serious depression that may cause, changes in eating and sleeping habits, restlessness, anxiety, loss of interest in activities once enjoyed including sex and hobbies and thoughts or attempt of suicide.
