The act of refusing someone’s proposal or any idea can be defined as rejection. An individual may experience rejection from families, friends, loved ones, or in his professional life. Resulting emotions of rejection are mostly painful.
Rejection really hurts, it inflicts damage to our social well being that goes beyond emotional pain. Emotional rejection is something we often experience when we are disappointed about not achieving something we desired.
Rejection impacts on daily life to people who are highly sensitive. Those people are always afraid of rejection, they develop a low self-esteem about themselves. People think that nobody wants to be with them. As a result these people start pushing other people away.
