Schizoid
Schizoid is a personality disorder in which a person stays aloof from society and avoids any sort of social activities. People with schizoid personality disorder shy away from interaction with others, find it difficult to express emotions and lack the desire to form healthy relationship bonds.
Schizoid is an uncommon mental condition and can be noticed in a human right from their childhood. Combination of genetic and environmental factors may develop schizoid personality disorder in people.
People of schizoid personality prefer being alone, always choose solitary activities, are indifferent to criticism and praise, show very little intimacy and have little or no desire in sexual activities. Sometimes the schizoid personality boosts people's work performance but some may experience loneliness and social isolation as a result.
