Scream cries
Scream, shriek, screech are words that are used to refer to crying out in a shrill and loud fashion, piercing through the way, at a very high pitch. Human beings or specifically children often scream, to scream is to utter or make a loud, quite a piercing cry, which is done especially out of the pain felt, the fear experienced, the anger aroused, or excitement created, for instance, to scream with terror. The word is also used to indicate a little, barely audible cry given by one who is startled or shocked.
Children however, might scream when they are not able to communicate their needs and wants due to their limited vocabulary and inability to create meaningful phrases. They might want to employ screaming as a medium of communication. This childhood screaming usually subsides as the child learns to articulate and communicate their needs with the significant others.
