Selective amnesia
Selective amnesia is a type of amnesia in which people lose the ability to remember certain events or memory. However, they can recall the other events that occur at the same period of time.
Common elements that people may forget due to selective amnesia are: special talents, relationships, artistic talent. They forget events like musical concerts, certain shows, depressive events.
Many people often experience selective amnesia. It allows people to pay attention to any event. The phenomena of selective amnesia is when people give more attention to any particular event or information, they forget that immediately.
There are many factors that lead to selective amnesia such as; people becoming older, low oxygen level, head injuries, stroke, use of alcohol, stress, depression.
