Self sabotage
Self-sabotage is a behaviour, in which people stop themselves to achieve any goals. It could be self motivated or may come from something external in our environment. Self-sabotaging affects every part of life whether it is personal or professional or even social relationships. This behaviour lowers the people’s confidence in the longer run of life.
Most people are not even aware about this behaviour that they self-sabotage. They engage in many behaviors that connect self-sabotage which leads to negative consequences. However, people can easily overcome this behaviour.
There are many reasons why people have self-sabotage, and they act to damage their own well-being. Many people believe they are not capable enough of something, they underestimate their ability or suppress their feelings to do something. The most common self-sabotaging behaviours include procrastination,self medication with drugs or alcohol, unhealthy comfort eating and self-injury such as cutting.
