Sexual pleasure
The pleasure that is achieved by an individual through sexual intercourse or activity is termed as sexual pleasure. The pleasure derived from sex is one of the basic physiological need of human kind according to Abraham Maslow. The pleasure derived from sexual activity is dependent upon the extent of understanding the two people involved in the activity possess. Which might depend on the following factors:
Attitude towards sex:
- These are greatly influenced by the way people have received sex information during childhood & adolescence.
Past Sexual Experiences :
- The way adults & peers reacted to masturbation, petting and premarital intercourse when they were younger.
Sexual Desire:
- Varies from person to person
Early Marital Sexual Experiences :
- The belief that sexual relations produce states of ecstasy unparalleled by any other experience.
Attitude Towards Use Of Contraceptives:
- Friction or conflict is more if partners don’t agree concerning the use contraceptive.
