An individual’s sexual Interest or attraction to others, or the ability to experience erotic responses is referred as sexuality. It involves more than sexual activity. People’s sexuality is often shaped by their sexual orientation, it may include both physical and emotional attraction.
There are various ways to experience and express sexuality, this may include; fantasies, values, preferences, behaviour, practices and relationships. Sometimes people feel confusion about their sexuality. These confusion can arise from the norms and beliefs that have been taught by society, parents and culture. Sexuality is a developmental process and people get to know better about their sexuality with growing age and experiences.
Emotional aspects of sexuality care about the bond between two persons, through this they express the feelings of love and trust. Sexual intimacy can be satisfying and pleasurable but concerns about sexuality impacts mental health and one can feel distressing.
