Vasovagal response
Vasovagal response or Vasovagal syncope is said to occurs when a person faint due to the overreactions of the body to certain triggers, like that of the the sight of blood or extreme emotional distress. This responses might also be called neurocardiogenic syncope. The vasovagal syncope trigger results in the drop of heart rate and blood pressure suddenly. This sudden drop usually leads to reduction of the blood flow to the brain of an individual, which causes the person to briefly lose their consciousness. Vasovagal syncope largely is quite harmless and requires no treatment as such. But it's possible that a person might injure himself or herself during an episode of vasovagal syncope. In such cases the doctor or the physician might recommend certain tests as it might be applicable to the person to rule out the probability of more-serious causes of fainting, which might include heart disorders.
