In my professional life I have been a part of the Mental Health field in various capacities. As a school counsellor, teacher, trainer and work place wellness coach I have had to adapt and engage in each of the areas by observing my environment. Even though my roles have largely required me to be empathetic and approachable, I also had to communicate, analyse, plan and evaluate situations to provide best possible resolutions. Perhaps the most interesting part of being in this field is the need to keep myself updated and learn new skills. This has allowed me to broaden my sense of thinking, reasoning and capacity to comprehend other's wold view.
I am a keen observer, good listener, kind and compassionate person. Understanding my emotions has allowed me to access the spectrum of feelings others experience; which helps during counselling sessions and in building relations at large.
