Anticipatory anxiety
Anticipatory anxiety refers to the fear and worry around bad things that might happen. It can happen across different contexts, but it commonly in areas where things cannot be predicted or controlled. One who worries excessively and uncontrollably might be suffering from anxiety disorders. An anxiety disorder is understood as a type of mental health condition. If one has an anxiety disorder, he or she might respond to any ambivalent stimuli and situations with fear and dread. Some level of anxiety is beneficial and enhances performance.
