Clutter
When a room is piled up with scattered things all around in a disorderly manner, this defines clutter. Basically, people keep unnecessary stuff in their living space despite it not being needed or wanted.
Cluttering is a compulsive behaviour that involves living in an unmanageable environment. Clutter is also defined as staying connected to relationships, activities and emotional issues that no longer serve any purpose in life. Cluttering negatively impacts one's mental and emotional well being.
Clutter can be a cause of shame and avoidance of allowing someone to enter the room. Most people feel anxious in a cluttered room while few feel being more creative amid the messy environment.
Cluttering is viewed as a sign of laziness but it can also mean a person might be having a busy lifestyle. Clutter can also be a sign of the person being in depression and frustration, making unhealthy life choices.
