Hyper responsivity
In a social situation, human beings are respond in a number of ways. The act of actively responding even at the slightest change in the environment, can be called hyper responsivity. A person who is seen to respond in this way, can be easily evoked by slightest of stimuli or using by using various compliance technique. A person is said to be hyper responsive, when he or she are triggered to response in a way that is clearly excessive and out of proportion in a given situation. These people are often impulsive and hyperactive in their behaviour.
From the clinical aspect, hyper responsivity can be seen as one of the important etiological factor which can be of immense influence resulting in a mental condition, that can result in precipitation of certain psychological disorder. Therefore, such symptomatology should be observed and intervened as and when required to ensure proper psychological functioning of an individual.
