Veganism�s
The term “vegan” was first coined in 1944 by a petite group of vegetarians who decided to break away from the Leicester Vegetarian Society of England so that they can form the Vegan Society. The members of the group decided not to consume dairy, eggs, or any other products that originated from animal, in addition to their refrain from the consumption of meat, as it is done by vegetarians. The term “vegan” was created by combining the first and last letters of “vegetarian.” Veganism as it is defined as a way of living that tries to exclude all forms of animal cruelty and exploitation, be it from food or any other purpose. Veganism is a therefore a lifestyle that abandon all animal products and attempts to limit animal exploitation as much as possible. One might go vegan for a variety of issues, ranging from health, ethical, and environmental concerns.
