My real-life experience led me to counselling Psychology in my early forties. I got trained in one of the best psychology institutes in India, Montfort College, Bangalore. I got MSc and thereafter I engaged myself, as a counsellor, in various settings like Employment Assistant Programme (EAP) at 1 to 1, Bangalore, Montfort family clinic, school and college settings, and personal practice. Meanwhile, I got trained deeper in CBT, self-psychology, AMR and schema therapy. I also completed PhD in Counselling Psychology. I have helped to heal over 2218 persons with emotional, behavioural, trauma-related, and interpersonal problems. My approach is an eclectic model. Presently I am also an assistant professor of psychology at Anugraha Institute of Social Sciences, affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nādu, India. I have 13 years of experience in helping people with somatoform, anxiety, depression and interpersonal issues to heal themselves.
